20 Local Craft Brands Ready to Compete Globally through ASIK Kriya Batch 3

Tangerang Selatan, 4 May, 2026 – The Ministry of Creative Economy / Creative Economy Agency (Ekraf) continues to demonstrate its commitment to advancing the craft subsector through the Akselerasi Ekspor Ekonomi Kreatif (ASIK) Kriya Batch 3 bootcamp. The program, participated in by 20 selected brands from across Indonesia, serves as a bridge for craft practitioners to grow and enhance their competitiveness in the global market.

– Kementerian Ekonomi Kreatif/Badan Ekonomi Kreatif (Ekraf) terus berkomitmen mendorong pertumbuhan subsektor kriya melalui boothcamp Akselerasi Ekspor Ekonomi Kreatif (ASIK) Kriya Batch 3. Program yang diikuti 20 jenama terpilih dari seluruh Indonesia ini menjadi jembatan bagi pegiat kriya untuk berkembang dan memiliki daya saing di tingkat global.The Ministry of Creative Economy / Creative Economy Agency (Ekraf) continues to demonstrate its commitment to advancing the craft subsector through the Akselerasi Ekspor Ekonomi Kreatif (ASIK) Kriya Batch 3 bootcamp.

“We see great potential in the Batch 3 participants to become representatives of Indonesian craft in the global market,” said Deputy for Cultural Creativity and Design at the Ministry of Creative Economy, Yuke Sri Rahayu, Monday (5/4).

Participants will undergo an intensive five-day training program from May 4 to May 8, 2026, in South Tangerang. They come from various regions, including Jakarta, Bogor, South Tangerang, Kebumen, Bandung, Cilegon, Sukabumi, Sukoharjo, Sidoarjo, Yogyakarta, Jember, Bali, West Lombok, and Binjai.

All participants have gone through a rigorous curation process by practitioners, taking into account product quality, innovation value, design originality, as well as business sustainability potential that appeals to international buyers.

ASIK Kriya is a continued commitment by the Ministry of Creative Economy following the success of the previous two batches, which involved 40 brands. The program is designed not merely as technical training, but as a comprehensive business development ecosystem that includes strengthening brand identity, market-oriented product development, and assistance toward export readiness.

“Through ASIK Kriya, we expect business players not only to improve product quality, but also to create broader economic and social impacts, including increased income, job creation, and the strengthening of the creative economy ecosystem in their respective regions,” Yuke emphasized.

Following the bootcamp, participants will receive additional intensive training and product collaboration development to prepare for participation in various strategic exhibitions both domestically and internationally.
