In his address, President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto outlined a number of government achievements over the past 21 months, including the transformation of 121 policies, the achievement of self-sufficiency in several food commodities, strengthened energy resilience through the B50 diesel program, as well as the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program, digital social assistance, and downstream industrialization. The President emphasized that these policies were aimed at addressing public concerns while ensuring that national wealth is utilized to the greatest possible extent for the prosperity of the people.

“The government works to uphold and implement the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, protect core national interests, address the people’s difficulties in the shortest possible time, and always remain oriented toward the interests of the people and future generations,” said Prabowo.

The President also stated that Indonesia’s investment realization in 2025 reached Rp1,931 trillion, creating 2.7 million new jobs. Meanwhile, investment realization from January to June 2026 reached Rp1,010 trillion, creating 1.4 million jobs. This performance also supported Indonesia’s economic growth of 5.61 percent in the first quarter of 2026 and 5.45 percent in the first half of 2026.

“With the right, rational, and common-sense policies, I am confident that Indonesia’s economic growth can reach 6 percent by the end of this year. Eighty-one years ago, our founding fathers entrusted us with a republic. This Republic was established so that the people would feel that the government stands alongside them. Our task is not merely to keep the Republic standing. Our task is to ensure that this Republic succeeds as a nation. This Republic must have the capacity to be present among the people and deliver prosperity to all Indonesians. Let us prove to the world that our democracy can deliver prosperity,” said the President of the Republic of Indonesia.

In line with this development direction, the creative economy sector recorded positive performance throughout 2025. Creative economy investment realization reached Rp183.01 trillion, or 134 percent of the RPJMN target, while exports reached USD31.94 billion, or 120 percent of the target. The sector also absorbed 27.40 million workers and recorded GDP growth of 6.86 percent, contributing 7.38 percent to national GDP. Entering 2026, creative economy investment in the first quarter reached Rp61.33 trillion, while exports reached USD9.99 billion through April.

The Minister of Creative Economy said these achievements serve as important capital for strengthening the creative economy as one of the new engines of national economic growth. According to him, the development of the sector needs to go hand in hand with the strengthening of intellectual property as an asset capable of creating economic value.

“The Ministry of Creative Economy believes that these efforts are becoming increasingly focused through the Creative Economy Master Plan (Rindekraf), which serves as a roadmap for the development of the creative economy sector. Rindekraf provides direction for the development of national creativity while strengthening an ecosystem based on innovation, intellectual property, talent, investment, and market expansion. These efforts form part of the Ministry of Creative Economy’s contribution to promoting inclusive economic growth toward Golden Indonesia 2045,” said Teuku Riefky.
