Celebrating Pop Culture at Pes7a Warga Duniaku, Strengthening Creative Economy Through Communities

Jakarta, September 27, 2026 – Deputy Minister of Creative Economy/Deputy Head of the Creative Economy Agency, Irene Umar, evaluated that the presence of communities serves as a fundamental pillar in driving Indonesia's creative economy ecosystem. This was highlighted during the Pes7a Warga Duniaku event organized by Duniaku.com at M Bloc Space, Jakarta.

The Ministry of Creative Economy (Ekraf) says Pes7a Warga Duniaku is contributing to the strengthening of the national creative economy ecosystem at M Bloc Space, Jakarta, Sunday (27/9/2026).

“Communities are an important foundation. From communities, many things can grow, whether in the world of gaming, the esports industry, or various other creative subsectors. We see how complex matters can be translated into something simple and enjoyable for many people through creativity,” Irene said while attending Pes7a Warga Duniaku, Sunday (9/27).

This event brought together fans, creators, and popular culture industry players to expand networks while opening opportunities for strategic collaboration in creative economy subsectors, such as gaming, comics, and community-based digital content. Irene added that the development of Indonesian popular culture, particularly games, comics, and digital Intellectual Property (IP), possesses massive market opportunities if nurtured through continuous interaction spaces between creators, investors, and the public.

“Through events like this, we see how creativity, technology, and community can convene in a single space. The hope is that Indonesian creative works can continue to develop and gain wider recognition,” Irene added.

Carrying the spirit of ‘One Place for Every Warga Duniaku,’ this event offered an immersive experience and a variety of interactive activities. The occasion was designed as an inclusive meeting point for popular culture enthusiasts as well as a showcase platform for young Indonesian talents.
