Jakarta, September 2, 2026 – The Ministry of Creative Economy / Creative Economy Agency (Ekraf) expressed its appreciation for the Free Health Check (CKG) program as part of the series of events commemorating the 25th Anniversary of Tasikmalaya City. The appreciation was conveyed by Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene Umar during a meeting with the Tasikmalaya City Government at the Ministry of Creative Economy office in Jakarta, Wednesday (2/9).
Deputy Minister of Creative Economy/Deputy Head of the Creative Economy Agency (Ekraf), Irene Umar, received a delegation from the Tasikmalaya City Government at the Ministry of Creative Economy office in Jakarta, Wednesday (2/9/2026).
CKG is a government program that facilitates access to health check-ups for the public. The CKG program organized by the Tasikmalaya City Government consists of 10 stages of health examinations and follow-up services, ranging from basic health checks and eye examinations to early detection of cervical cancer and heart examinations.
“This is really great. It is a comprehensive package. CKG is important because it is a government program under the Red and White Cabinet. I think it is already very good because CKG is a program that can be directly accessed by everyone, especially since we are holding it in a premium location such as a shopping mall,” said the Deputy Minister of Creative Economy.
The Deputy Minister of Creative Economy added that the Tasikmalaya City Government could also collaborate with local intellectual property (IP) owners to create a more engaging experience through the CKG program. Such collaboration could also be carried out as part of the celebrations for Tasikmalaya City’s 25th anniversary.

“We can promote this through various events taking place in Tasikmalaya. If there is access by train, we could display a Tasikmalaya event calendar at the station. That way, when people arrive, they will know what events are taking place. We could also create a mascot,” said the Deputy Minister of Creative Economy.
Meanwhile, Head of the Tasikmalaya City Health Office, Asep Hendra Hendriana, said that CKG is a national government program aimed at strengthening promotive and preventive efforts through the early detection of risk factors and diseases.
