Deputy Minister of Creative Economy/Deputy Head of the Creative Economy Agency (Ekraf), Irene Umar, visits the Creative Paper Experience 2026 at MGP Space, SCBD Park, Jakarta, Saturday (22/8/2026).
“When we see paper not only as a material, but also as a medium for experimentation, we can discover many new possibilities. From texture, color, and form to different ways of processing it, paper can become part of the process of creating a work and a creative experience,” said Irene during her visit on Saturday (22/8).
During her visit, the Deputy Minister of Creative Economy toured several areas of the Creative Paper Experience, including the Paper Maze, Paper Lab, and booths featuring the event’s initiators and exhibitors. The exhibition is designed as a journey that invites visitors to interact with various characteristics of paper and explore its potential applications more closely.
“Spaces like this are important because they bring materials, ideas, and talent together in a single experience. When creative practitioners are given the space to experiment and explore, simple materials can be transformed into works of art, designs, and products with added value,” explained Irene.
