“The Local Market is not merely a marketplace. When we look deeper, it serves as a showcase for some of the most promising intellectual property seeds in Indonesia,” said Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene Umar.

Since it was first held, The Local Market has consistently functioned as a meeting point between creative practitioners and the public, and it has now entered its 21st edition. The event represents support for local creative industry players through curation by Ku Ka Aku Suka, featuring selected flagship products from various regions across Indonesia.

In the “Langit Lokal” edition, local business actors presented works that excel not only in design and quality, but also highlight sustainability values and the stories behind each product.

“Every booth we see today is not merely selling products, not just selling clothing, food, or crafts. Each booth is building a brand, creating a character, and designing something that holds value,” stated the Deputy Minister of Creative Economy.

The Deputy Minister of Creative Economy also invited all tenants to participate in one of the Ministry of Creative Economy / Creative Economy Agency programs, namely Ekraf Hunt, by registering their works through hunt.ekraf.go.id. Ekraf Hunt serves as a digital showcase for creative economy practitioners to present their intellectual property to the world.
