Digital Travel Pack Integration Enables Local Products to Go Global

Jakarta, September 26, 2026 – The Ministry of Creative Economy/Creative Economy Agency collaborated with Bank Indonesia to officially inaugurate the Signature Moment Indonesia Travel Pack (ITP) 2026 within the framework of the Indonesia Digital Economy and Financial Festival (FEKDI) x Indonesia Fintech Summit & Expo (IFSE) 2026 at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC). This strategic initiative was established to strengthen cross-border digital financial connectivity while opening avenues for local creative economy products to penetrate the global value chain.

Inisiatif strategis ini hadir untuk memperkuat konektivitas keuangan digital antarnegara sekaligus membuka jalan bagi produk ekonomi kreatif lokal menembus rantai nilai global.The Ministry of Creative Economy, in collaboration with Bank Indonesia, inaugurates the Signature Moment of Indonesia Travel Pack (ITP) 2026 as part of the Indonesia Digital Financial Economy Festival (FEKDI) x Indonesia Fintech Summit & Expo 2026 series at the Jakarta International Convention Center, Jakarta, Saturday (26/9/2026).

Indonesia Travel Pack (ITP) 2026 is an integrative solution combining destination information guides, cross-border QRIS-based payment services, and connectivity access for international tourists. Through its core features, Explore, Buy, and Connect, tourists can plan their journeys while transacting across the local creative economy and MSME ecosystems safely and conveniently even prior to arriving in the country.

“This represents a key part of our collaboration with Bank Indonesia to accomplish something extraordinary, which is connecting with the digital payment system. As digital connectivity and payments become increasingly seamless, Indonesian creative products, culinary offerings, and diverse local experiences can gain greater recognition worldwide,” Deputy Minister of Creative Economy, Irene Umar, stated at FEKDI x IFSE 2026, Saturday (9/26).

The Deputy Minister of Creative Economy added that technological inclusivity must encompass all tiers of business actors, particularly the MSME sector and regional creative communities.

“I hope this Indonesia Travel Pack not only delivers a memorable experience for tourists, but also provides a platform for local vendors, MSMEs, and creative communities across various regions to gain an equal stage in showcasing Indonesia's finest products,” Irene added.

Meanwhile, Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia, Aida S. Budiman conveyed that strengthening cross-border payment connectivity is essential to driving efficiency in foreign tourist mobility and increasing economic turnover within the tourism sector.

“How we facilitate international tourists coming to Indonesia, making transactions, and increasing their economic activities forms a crucial element of digital transformation. Through cross-border QRIS and the Indonesia Travel Pack, we deliver a payment system that is fast, easy, affordable, secure, and reliable,” Aida S. Budiman said.

In addition to launching ITP 2026, Deputy Minister of Creative Economy, Irene Umar inspected the Digitalent Expo 2026 area to explore the potential of young digital talents and encourage synergy between technological innovation and creative industries. During her visit, Deputy Minister, Irene Umar held discussions with the finalists of PIDI Digdaya x Hackathon 2026, and took the time to play a local board game at the Creative Economy booth alongside Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital of Indonesia Angga Raka Prabowo, and Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia Filianingsih Hendarta.

The FEKDI x IFSE 2026 event series, held on September 24–26, 2026, was organized by Bank Indonesia alongside the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs and the Financial Services Authority (OJK), supported by the Indonesian Payment System Association (ASPI) and the Indonesian Fintech Association (AFTECH). With the theme of 'Strengthening Synergy, Accelerating Innovation, Fostering Superior Talent with Global Competitiveness for National Digital Economy and Finance Advancement,' this forum reasserts cross-sector commitment to accelerating national digital transformation.

Also present at the event were Expert Staff for Digital Transformation and Tourism Innovation at the Ministry of Tourism Masruroh; Deputy Governor of Banten Achmad Dimyati Natakusumah; Assistant for Economy and Finance of the Regional Secretariat of DKI Jakarta Province Suharini Eliawati; and Chairman of the Indonesian Payment System Association (ASPI) Santoso. Accompanying the Deputy Minister of Creative Economy at the event were Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital of Indonesia Angga Raka Prabowo, Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia Filianingsih Hendarta, Deputy for Digital Creativity and Technology Muhammad Neil El Himam, and Director of Technology Creativity Dandy Yudha.
