Four ASIK Brands Showcase at FHI 2026, Ministry of Creative Economy Expands Export Market Access

Jakarta, July 21, 2026 – Minister of Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency (Ekraf), Teuku Riefky Harsya, attended the opening of Food & Hospitality Indonesia (FHI) 2026 at Jakarta International Expo (JIEXPO), Jakarta, Tuesday (21/7). Entering its 20th edition, FHI serves as a strategic platform that brings together players in the food, beverage, and hospitality industries to strengthen collaboration and open business opportunities in national and global markets.

Menteri Ekraf menegaskan bahwa subsektor kuliner merupakan salah satu penggerak utama ekonomi kreatif Indonesia. Selain berkontribusi besar terhadap penciptaan lapangan kerja, subsektor ini juga memiliki peran penting dalam memperkuat rantai nilai ekonomi sekaligus mempromosikan identitas budaya melalui kekayaan cita rasa Nusantara.Minister of Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency (Ekraf), Teuku Riefky Harsya (center), visits one of the Food & Hospitality Indonesia (FHI) booths at Jakarta International Expo (JIEXPO), Jakarta, Tuesday (21/7/2026).

The Minister of Creative Economy emphasized that the culinary subsector is one of the main drivers of Indonesia’s creative economy. In addition to making a significant contribution to job creation, the subsector also plays an important role in strengthening the economic value chain while promoting cultural identity through the rich flavors of the Indonesian archipelago.

“The culinary subsector is one of the main pillars of Indonesia’s creative economy, making a significant contribution to job creation, strengthening the economic value chain, and promoting the nation’s cultural identity. Food & Hospitality Indonesia 2026 serves as an important momentum to strengthen collaboration and open up broader opportunities for Indonesian creative economy players,” said the Minister of Creative Economy.

At FHI 2026, held from July 21–24, 2026, the Ministry of Creative Economy presented the EKRAF Pavilion featuring four culinary brands supported by the Indonesia Creative Export Acceleration Program (ASIK), namely El's Coffee, Novio Fresh, Pempek Cek Molek, and Rasakoe. The four brands were selected through a curation process based on their product readiness to meet the needs of the hotel, restaurant, and catering (HoReCa) industry.

The ASIK Program is a strategic initiative of the Ministry of Creative Economy that provides comprehensive assistance to creative economy players, ranging from business capacity building, product standardization and certification, to strengthening competitiveness to enable them to enter export markets. Through this program, the Ministry of Creative Economy is committed to strengthening the culinary subsector ecosystem by promoting talent development, improving product quality, and expanding access to international markets.

“Through this momentum, let us ensure that Food & Hospitality Indonesia 2026 plays a highly strategic role in achieving these objectives. This is where innovation meets the market, and creativity is translated into tangible economic value,” said the Minister of Creative Economy.

FHI 2026 brought together participants from 32 countries and was integrated with exhibitions covering the hospitality, design, and packaging sectors. Through this participation, the Ministry of Creative Economy facilitated the promotion of the four ASIK-supported brands to industry players, prospective buyers, and international business partners.

Also present was Portfolio Director of Food & Hospitality Indonesia, Meysia Stephanie. The Minister of Creative Economy was accompanied by Deputy for Cultural Creativity and Design, Yuke Sri Rahayu; and Acting Director of Culinary, Dessy Widowati.
