Each ministry and/or institution will showcase its flagship programs through Independence-themed cosplay, based on six National Priority Programs: Food and Energy Self-Sufficiency, Free Nutritious Meals, Sekolah Rakyat, Free Health Checkups, Merah Putih Village/Subdistrict Cooperatives, and the 3 Million Subsidized Homes Program.
“Let us look out for one another and take full responsibility for our respective duties to ensure the smooth running of the event. Let us make this Independence month a moment to demonstrate our unity as we celebrate our happiness and joy together,” said Secretary of the Ministry of Creative Economy/Secretary General of the Creative Economy Agency, Dessy Ruhati.
The Carnival will also feature a parade, marching band performances, a Pagelaran Sabang Merauke performance procession, and musical entertainment from the main stage. Visitors can also enjoy the festival area, featuring rows of MSME culinary stalls, as well as fireworks and drone performances.
“The Independence Carnival is not merely a parade, but also an opportunity to develop creativity among ministries and institutions, the Indonesian National Armed Forces and National Police, as well as SOEs/Danantara, through the presentation of their flagship programs,” Dessy added.
