Minister of Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency (Ekraf), Teuku Riefky Harsya, receives an audience with a community of financial influencers and young entrepreneurs affiliated with The Founders at the Ministry of Creative Economy office, Jakarta, Monday (5/10/2026).
During the meeting, the Minister of Creative Economy emphasized the importance of an association as a platform to support practitioners in this field while strengthening collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the development of the creative economy ecosystem.
“Because this is a part of digital content and has economic value. Moreover, all of you also contribute to public education. That’s why an association was formed to support these content creators. They’ll be able to consult and hold an audience with their business partners,” the Minister of Creative Economy stated.
The Minister of Creative Economy added that the association can be part of a hexahelix collaboration involving the government, the business sector, academicians, communities, the media, and the public. Synergy across these elements is expected to expand networks, open up opportunities for cooperation through “business matching,” and simultaneously foster innovation and competitive works by Indonesian creators in both domestic and international markets.
In the Creative Economy Master Plan (Rindekraf) 2026–2045, digital content is one of the areas receiving attention due to its economic potential and broad market reach. The presence of financial influencers and young entrepreneurs such as The Founders reflects the role of digital content, which serves not only as a means of communication and education but has also evolved into a key component of business activities and economic value creation.
“For example, the game studios we’ve nurtured here, we sent them to Gamescom in Germany to meet with potential investors. Most have already secured partners, and their games are now available on the Steam platform,” he explained.
