“Taman Iskandar Muda is more than just a community association. It carries history, brotherhood, memories of our ancestral homeland, the spirit of preserving our dignity, and, most importantly, the bond among Acehnese people living away from Aceh. Taman Iskandar Muda has become a home that not only preserves Acehnese identity, but also serves as a bridge between Aceh and other regions, particularly Jakarta. With a spirit of togetherness and openness, I am confident that Taman Iskandar Muda can continue to serve as a shared home, including for the younger generation who will carry forward the nation's aspirations,” said Teuku Riefky at the Taman Iskandar Muda Grand Deliberation held at the Baiturrahman Mosque Hall, DPR/MPR RI Complex, Jakarta, Saturday (August 22).

The Minister of Creative Economy made the statement before 350 Mubes participants, reflecting the strong spirit of togetherness among Acehnese communities living away from Aceh. The community has carried out various social, educational, religious, and community activities that have benefited society. Teuku Riefky also emphasized the importance of regeneration to ensure that Taman Iskandar Muda remains close to the younger generation.

“Going forward, Taman Iskandar Muda will become stronger, more inclusive, and closer to the younger generation, so that it is not only a place to gather and strengthen ties, but also a space to exchange ideas, develop potential, and generate new ideas that benefit the Acehnese community. Our responsibility is not only to preserve what has been passed down by previous generations, but also to create the widest possible space for young people to grow, create, innovate, and dare to dream big,” explained Teuku Riefky.

The Minister of Creative Economy is optimistic that young Acehnese talent has significant potential to contribute across various fields. Teuku Riefky noted that today's younger generation of Acehnese includes prospective entrepreneurs, regional leaders, politicians, scholars, and creative talents who have the potential to bring greater pride to Aceh at both the national and global levels.
