Jakarta, September 25, 2026 – Minister of Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency, Teuku Riefky Harsya, attended the 2026 Indonesia Digital Economy and Financial Festival & Indonesia Fintech Summit and Expo (FEKDI x IFSE) at the Jakarta International Convention Centre (JICC), Friday (9/25).

During his attendance, the Minister of Creative Economy conveyed that a globally competitive creative economy ecosystem requires an inclusive financing foundation as well as mastery of cutting-edge technology so that local creators are capable of transforming intellectual property into a sustainable economic force.
"This event also reflects how when talent, industry, and government move together, innovation will generate an impact for Indonesia. From talent, tangible solutions will eventually emerge,” Teuku Riefky stated.
The Minister's presence simultaneously reinforced cross-sector collaboration in digital talent development while introducing technology-based creative economy programs, policies, and ecosystems to the public.

This step forms part of the Ministry of Creative Economy's commitment to implementing the Creative Economy Master Plan (Rindekraf) through the 2026–2029 Action Plan. This plan encompasses eight development strategies: research, education, funding and financing, infrastructure, marketing, incentives, intellectual property facilitation, and protection of creative outputs.
“Through strategic collaboration at this event, we are committed to continuously producing digitally competent creative human resources while expanding market access for domestic innovative products so they can become independent and go global,” Teuku Riefky emphasized.
FEKDI x IFSE 2026 was held on September 24–26, 2026, by Bank Indonesia (BI), the Financial Services Authority (OJK), the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, and industry associations.

With the theme of “Strengthening Synergy, Accelerating Innovation, Fostering Superior Talent with Global Competitiveness for National Digital Economy and Finance Advancement,” this event served as a cross-authority and industry collaboration space in developing the national digital economic and financial ecosystem.
On the second day, the Minister of Creative Economy participated in the Signature Moment featuring the PIDI video screening and symbolic activation of the Digital Partnership alongside Bank Indonesia Governor, Destry Damayanti, Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Brian Yuliarto, Chairman of the Indonesian Payment System Association (ASPI) Santoso Liem, and Chairman of the Indonesian Foreign Exchange Traders Association (APUVINDO) Ari Rizaldi.
“Merah Putih synergy and inclusive cross-sector collaboration are the primary keys to transforming Indonesia from a mere user into a resilient creator of digital innovation. Let us move together to create a greater tangible impact for the progress of the nation,” Destry stated.
In addition, the Minister of Creative Economy inspected the Ministry's involvement in PIDI Talent Expo 2026, a curated Career Expo designed to enhance competence, showcase innovation, expand networks, and connect talent with industry needs. This included the execution of the Digital Talent Training Camp through the mobilization of the creative industry ecosystem and the Talent Expo, namely filling Ministry of Creative Economy booths and Industry booths by presenting Creative Economy Actors while interacting with university students, as well as reviewing other booths at Digitalent Expo 2026.

"Trying a Mario-like console game and the Sekata card game at the creative economy booth was quite exciting. Besides gaining a new experience and trying games I had never played before, I also learned more about the creativity and works displayed,” an Information Technology Student from Ar-Raniry State Islamic University Banda Aceh, Riyan Arya Syahputra said.
The Ministry of Creative Economy was also involved in the curation and judging of innovations from the PIDI Digdaya x Hackathon 2026 program, a national initiative designed not merely as a competition, but as a journey to strengthen the quality of innovation and produce digital talents and solutions ready for implementation and impactful for Indonesia's economy. As the winner in the Professional category, startup "ADAKARIR" presented competency-based AI Job Matching innovation, while Startup "EXPRESSO" from the student category delivered an innovation to detect real-time anomalies via SNAP.
Also present was Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Stella Christie. The Minister was accompanied by Deputy for Digital Creativity and Technology M. Neil El Himam and Director of Technology Creativity Dandy Yudha Feryawan.
