Jakarta, July 16, 2026 – The Ministry of Creative Economy/Creative Economy Agency is exploring collaboration opportunities with Braze, a technology company that helps businesses build customer engagement, to strengthen the digital transformation of Indonesia’s creative economy ecosystem.
Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, receives a delegation from Braze at the Ministry of Creative Economy Office in Jakarta on Thursday (July 16, 2026).
The collaboration will focus on the implementation of Grow with Braze, scheduled for early August. The program is designed to enhance the capacity of creative economy practitioners while expanding their access to global markets through the utilization of digital marketing technology.
“Collaboration with Braze should be carried out on a sustainable basis so that the company’s technology and global network can strengthen Indonesia’s creative economy ecosystem, help creative entrepreneurs improve their competitiveness, expand market access, and foster the emergence of more national champions capable of competing globally,” said Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya while receiving a delegation from Braze at the Ministry of Creative Economy Office in Jakarta on Thursday (July 16).
Braze is a technology company that enables global brands to strengthen customer engagement through its cloud-based Customer Engagement Platform (CEP). The platform allows businesses to deliver more personalized communication by leveraging real-time data and artificial intelligence (AI) to support business transformation.
The Minister explained that the Ministry of Creative Economy currently oversees 21 creative economy subsectors, which are grouped into four major clusters, with seven subsectors designated as national priorities.
Through the hexahelix approach, the Government continues to strengthen collaboration with regional governments, the business sector, academia, communities, the media, and financial institutions to foster inclusive and sustainable creative economy growth. The Government’s priority is to accelerate the growth of creative economy practitioners who already possess production capacity and market potential, enabling them to scale up their businesses.

“The Ministry of Creative Economy primarily serves as an accelerator. We want creative economy practitioners who already have products and business capacity to grow more rapidly through access to technology, training, marketing, investment, and international networks. Collaboration with global companies such as Braze is one of the concrete steps to accelerate this process, including through joint curation initiatives that generate broader impacts,” the Minister explained.
During the meeting, Braze proposed several areas of cooperation, including the provision of 1,000 free certifications on customer engagement and digital campaigns for creative economy practitioners, technological support to help businesses develop more personalized digital communication strategies, and the organization of an international-scale marketing technology conference on August 4, 2026, featuring Braze’s Global CEO from the United States. The Minister of Creative Economy is expected to serve as the keynote speaker while opening broader opportunities for collaboration through the event.
“We believe that customer engagement technology can help Indonesia’s creative economy practitioners build stronger relationships with consumers. Therefore, we are eager to collaborate with the Ministry of Creative Economy through training, certification, and technology utilization so that more Indonesian creative entrepreneurs can grow and compete successfully in the global market,” said Franz Sihaloho, Country Director of Braze Indonesia.
In addition to discussing the upcoming conference, both parties explored opportunities for digital talent development, collaboration to optimize the business performance of enterprises supported by the Ministry of Creative Economy, and Braze’s participation in the World Conference on Creative Economy (WCCE) 2026, reinforcing Indonesia’s position as one of the world’s leading creative economy hubs.
