Jakarta, August 28, 2026 – The Ministry of Creative Economy / Creative Economy Agency (Ekraf) is strengthening the capacity of creative economy players in Aceh Tamiang Regency through business literacy, business assistance, financing relief, and capital support.
The Ministry of Creative Economy / Creative Economy Agency (Ekraf) organized the “Business Literacy for Creative Economy Players in Post-Disaster Recovery” activity at the Training Center of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah Building in Aceh Tamiang Regency, Thursday (27/8/2026).
The support was provided through the “Business Literacy for Creative Economy Players in Post-Disaster Recovery” activity, held at the Training Center of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah Building in Aceh Tamiang Regency on Thursday (27/8).
Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya said the activity is part of the government’s priority program under the Acceleration of Post-Disaster Rehabilitation and Reconstruction (PRRP) in Sumatra. According to him, economic recovery needs to go hand in hand with rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts so that affected communities can resume their businesses and rebuild their economic independence.
“Post-disaster recovery is not only about rebuilding infrastructure, but also about reviving economic activities in the community. We want to ensure that creative economy players in Aceh Tamiang receive the knowledge, assistance, and access they need to resume their businesses and recover sustainably,” said Teuku Riefky.
The activity also featured Director of Access to Funding, Financing and Investment Development at the Ministry of Creative Economy, Anggara Hayun Anujuprana, who delivered a session on “Business Literacy for Creative Economy Players.” Basic financial management materials were then presented by BSI Senior Manager of the Micro Business Group, Eko Ervan.
In addition to business literacy, affected creative economy players also received financing support from BSI through an interest-rate relief scheme. The financing interest rate is set at 0 percent through December 2026, followed by 3 percent throughout 2027, before returning to the normal rate the following year.

“BSI’s commitment to proactively assisting customers since the flooding disaster last year has been realized through payment relief, with the postponement of payments adjusted to each customer’s individual circumstances,” said BSI Lhokseumawe Area Manager Totok Sudiarto.
As part of the post-disaster recovery efforts, the Ministry of Creative Economy and BSI also symbolically provided a total of Rp50 million in business capital assistance to 50 creative economy businesses participating in the program. Each participant received Rp1 million in business capital assistance.
The assistance was symbolically handed over by Anggara Hayun Anujuprana; Totok Sudiarto; and Assistant for Government Affairs, Aceh Privileges, and People’s Welfare of the Aceh Tamiang Regency Regional Secretariat, Muslizar.
The collaboration between the Ministry of Creative Economy and BSI is expected to serve as a stimulus for creative economy players in Aceh Tamiang to resume their businesses, strengthen business resilience, and help revive economic activity in the community following the disaster.
