“Every region has different creative economy potential. Our task is to assist local governments in mapping that potential so it can grow into a source of economic growth, create quality jobs, and improve community welfare,” said the Minister of Creative Economy during the meeting at Autograph Tower, Jakarta, on Tuesday (July 22).
During the meeting, the Minister of Creative Economy presented the Creative Economy Master Plan (Rindekraf) 2026–2045 as the framework for national creative economy development. To accelerate regional growth, the Ministry introduced strategic programs such as Creative Village Activation, Creative Hub Activation, and Creative by Indonesia.
“We want to encourage the emergence of local heroes from every region. Creative economy players who have already demonstrated growth need to be accelerated through curation, capacity strengthening, market access, and financing so they can scale up and become drivers of the creative economy in their respective regions,” said the Minister.

The meeting also discussed concrete collaboration opportunities in Bungo Regency, including strengthening community-based creative spaces, curating local brands, and downstreaming local intellectual property such as historical narratives and folklore into high value-added creative products in the comic, film, animation, and digital content subsectors.
Bungo Regent Dedy Putra stated that Bungo Regency has significant potential in the culinary, craft, fashion, music, performing arts, film, and digital content subsectors. These strengths serve as the foundation for the Bungo Regency Administration’s efforts to position the creative economy as a new engine of regional economic growth.
“We hope that the Ministry of Creative Economy can support the development of the creative economy in Bungo Regency through training, ecosystem strengthening, intellectual property facilitation, promotion, and various programs that can enhance the competitiveness of creative economy players in the region,” said Dedy Putra.
