In accordance with Law No. 23 of 2019 on the Management of National Resources for National Defense, the Reserve Component is tasked with strengthening the Main Component (TNI) within the Total People’s Defense and Security System. This physical and mental development is considered essential to supporting the foundations of the national economy.
“Civil servants play a strategic role in ensuring the continuity of public services and the implementation of state policies. Therefore, the spirit of national defense must be reflected in every form of service, including through discipline, loyalty, professionalism, and readiness to make the best contribution to the nation,” Teuku Riefky continued.

During the Basic Military Training, participants receive instruction and training aimed at building character, strengthening discipline, developing esprit de corps, and enhancing their awareness and capabilities in national defense. The experience is expected not to end with the training period, but to become a set of values that participants bring back to their workplaces and demonstrate in carrying out their duties as civil servants.
Through the spirit of #KitaMulaiCaraBaru, the Ministry of Creative Economy continues to promote a transformation of its work culture that places people at the heart of the organization. The participation of civil servants in the Reserve Component Basic Military Training represents one tangible manifestation of this effort to develop physically and mentally resilient, adaptive, and professional civil servants who are ready to make their best contribution to Indonesia.
