Through its Creative Hub Activation program, the Ministry of Creative Economy / Creative Economy Agency (Ekraf) strengthens the capacity of 50 creative talents in Banten Province by facilitating access to funding and investment to enhance business readiness, expand networks, and improve the competitiveness of creative businesses, Banten, Friday (9/10/2026).
Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya emphasized that Creative Hubs play a role in connecting creativity, innovation, markets, and funding sources.
“Creative Hubs must be more than just gathering spaces. We aim to build an ecosystem that brings together talent, ideas, technology, industry, and funding sources so that creative potential can develop into competitive businesses, create jobs, and generate added value for regional and national economies,” said Teuku Riefky.
Head of the South Tangerang City Tourism Office, Muhammad Ervin Ardani, said that this facilitation provides creative economy practitioners with an opportunity to overcome limited access to information, networks, and financing.
“Creative economy practitioners have tremendous potential to grow. Through collaboration and facilitated access to funding, we hope more creative businesses will be able to expand their markets, enhance their competitiveness, and make tangible contributions to South Tangerang’s economy,” he said.

The activity featured three main sessions. Anggara discussed alternative funding sources, financial recordkeeping, and pitch deck preparation. Chief Financial Officer of BNI Ventures, Lugas Prancafitri, presented strategies for securing investment from venture capital firms, including market validation, business models, valuation, and document readiness. Meanwhile, Dion Wardyono, a lecturer in the Creative Business Study Program at the Vocational Education Program of the University of Indonesia, discussed business models and value propositions that can attract consumers and investors.
Head of Public Affairs for Sinar Mas Land at KEK ETKI Banten, Boy Arno Muhamad, welcomed the collaboration as an effort to strengthen the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
