Ministry of Creative Economy Facilitates the Participation of Four ASIK Culinary Brands at FHI 2026

Jakarta, July 15, 2026 – Four culinary brands from the Ministry of Creative Economy/Creative Economy Agency's Akselerasi Ekspor Kreasi Indonesia (ASIK) Program Batch 1, 2, and 3 of 2025 will participate in Food & Hospitality Indonesia (FHI) 2026 at the Jakarta International Expo (JIEXPO). Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, emphasized that this strategic initiative is aimed at strengthening the capacity and competitiveness of Indonesia's local culinary brands.

“Melalui partisipasi pada FHI 2026, kami ingin membuka peluang yang lebih luas bagi jenama kuliner Indonesia untuk membangun jejaring bisnis, memperkenalkan kualitas produknya, dan memperkuat kesiapan memasuki pasar global,” ujar Menteri Ekraf yang menambahkan bahwa subsektor kuliner merupakan salah satu kontributor terbesar terhadap Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB) ekonomi kreatif nasional.Photo: Bureau for Communication, Ministry of Creative Economy / Creative Economy Agency.

“Through our participation in FHI 2026, we aim to create broader opportunities for Indonesian culinary brands to build business networks, showcase the quality of their products, and enhance their readiness to enter the global market,” said the Minister, adding that the culinary subsector remains one of the largest contributors to the national creative economy's Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

At FHI 2026, which will take place from July 21 to 24, 2026, the Ministry of Creative Economy will present an EKRAF pavilion featuring four supported culinary brands: El's Coffee, Novio Fresh, Pempek Cek Molek, and Rasakoe. These brands were selected through a curation process that assessed their suitability for the hospitality, restaurant, and catering (HoReCa) industry, production capacity readiness, and business development potential for international markets.

The ASIK Program is a strategic initiative of the Ministry of Creative Economy that provides mentoring, capacity-building training, standardization, and certification for creative economy practitioners. The program is designed to enhance the competitiveness of local products by ensuring they meet international quality standards and are prepared to enter export markets.

FHI 2026 will bring together participants from 32 countries and will be integrated with exhibitions covering the hospitality, design, and packaging sectors. Through this ecosystem, creative economy practitioners will have opportunities to expand business partnerships while gaining insights into the latest industry developments, including culinary service digitalization (smart manufacturing) and the adoption of environmentally friendly packaging (sustainability adoption), both of which are key themes of this year's exhibition.

Through its participation in FHI 2026, the Ministry of Creative Economy is facilitating the promotion of the four ASIK-supported culinary brands to industry players, buyers, and international business partners in an effort to create partnership opportunities and increase their export potential.
