Minister of Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency (Ekraf), Teuku Riefky Harsya, receives an audience with LYNK.ID to discuss digital business developments and strengthening the creator economy ecosystem in Indonesia at the Ministry of Creative Economy office, Jakarta, Wednesday (23/09/2026).

The Minister stated that the evolution of digital platforms needs to progress hand-in-hand with the growth in the number of digital creators and entrepreneurs across Indonesia. According to him, the presence of platforms that assist creators in managing and growing digital business activities holds the potential to reinforce the creative economy value chain.

“As a newly established ministry, this meeting presents a valuable opportunity to strengthen and expand the creative economy ecosystem, specifically in the regions. Applications are also a sector with major investment in Indonesia and a part of priority that we must continuously cultivate. On the other hand, creative hubs are already present in many regions and need activation to be able to produce high-quality creative economy actors, including through capacity building and certification,” the Minister stated on Wednesday (9/23).

The Minister added that the Ministry of Creative Economy continually opens spaces for collaboration with various digital platforms and digital industry practitioners. This approach is intended to broaden opportunities for creators while encouraging digital-based creative activities to evolve into sustainable economic endeavors.

“Therefore, we are constantly updating our short- and medium-term roadmaps to be more targeted in strengthening every program, while ensuring that the collaboration built delivers tangible benefits to the ecosystem. The Ministry of Creative Economy maintains two major focus areas: contributing to poverty alleviation and driving national economic growth. In this context, LYNK.ID can serve as a collaborator, particularly in providing training, strengthening the practitioners’ capacity, as well as expanding and advancing the digital-based creative economy ecosystem,” Teuku Riefky stated.

The audience, held at the Ministry of Creative Economy Office, Jakarta, also addressed digital business trends and needs among creators and creative economy practitioners. The exchange of insights regarding these developments is deemed essential so that support for creative economy practitioners remain increasingly relevant to shifting consumer behaviors, technology, and digital business models.

Whatever we pursue together shares a common objective: strengthening and accelerating the creative economy ecosystem.
