Ministry of Creative Economy Prepares Bogor Culinary Businesses to Compete Globally

Jakarta, October 9, 2026 – The Ministry of Creative Economy / Creative Economy Agency (Ekraf) continues to strengthen the capacity of culinary businesses to grow and compete at the global level. The culinary subsector is not only part of Indonesia’s national identity but also one of the key drivers of the national economy.

The Ministry of Creative Economy / Creative Economy Agency (Ekraf) continues to strengthen the capacity of culinary businesses to grow and compete at the global level.

This effort is being carried out through Nusantara Culinary Lab, an intensive training program for culinary business practitioners under the Creative Hub program. The initiative serves as a platform for collaboration, capacity development, and enhanced competitiveness among creative economy practitioners.

Nusantara Culinary Lab takes place on October 9–10, 2026, at the RRI Bogor Auditorium in Bogor City. Using a practical and hands-on approach, the training provides participants with an opportunity to deepen their knowledge, share experiences, build networks, and gain new perspectives on developing culinary businesses based on local potential.

“Culinary products are not merely goods to be consumed; they are part of Indonesia’s identity, creativity, and economic strength. Therefore, our task is to ensure that the creativity of culinary practitioners can be developed into value-added products with strong brands that can reach broader markets,” said Deputy for Cultural and Design Creativity at the Ministry of Creative Economy, Yuke Sri Rahayu.

Through Nusantara Culinary Lab, participants receive training in business strategies, ranging from developing an entrepreneurial founder mindset and growing a business to launching new products. The program brings together industry practitioners and experts to share knowledge and strategies that participants can apply to develop their businesses.

The program is organized by the Ministry of Creative Economy in collaboration with the Bogor City Creative Economy Forum and the Bogor City Tourism and Culture Office. The first session features Georgian Marcello from the Bogor City Creative Economy Forum, who discusses the importance of cultivating a resilient and innovative founder mindset to develop a business.

Next, Nilamsari from NSK Consulting explores business growth strategies through Vertical & Horizontal Growth, expansion techniques, and the preparation of pitch decks to attract business partners.

Both aspects provide culinary business practitioners with essential skills to maintain consistent product quality while meeting the needs of large-scale business-to-business (B2B) markets.

On the second day, participants explore market penetration strategies and product innovation with Hendra Novianto from Foodiz. Through the New Product Launching Strategy session, participants learn how to formulate competitive product offerings, understand the product life cycle, and develop launch strategies to support sustainable sales growth.
