Jakarta, July 16, 2026 – The Ministry of Creative Economy/Creative Economy Agency received the Audit Report (LHP) on the 2025 Financial Statements of Ministries/Agencies and Foreign Loans/Grants from the Supreme Audit Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK RI). Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, emphasized that the audit report serves as an important encouragement for the Ministry to continue strengthening clean, transparent, and accountable governance.

"Receiving this Audit Report serves as both a reminder and a motivation for us to continue maintaining transparent, accountable financial management in accordance with the principles of good governance. The Ministry of Creative Economy is committed to following up on every recommendation from BPK as part of our efforts to improve public services and strengthen Indonesia's creative economy ecosystem," said Minister Teuku Riefky at the BPK RI State Finance Audit Training Center in Jakarta on Thursday (July 16).
According to the Minister, sound financial accountability is a fundamental pillar in supporting creative economy development programs that deliver tangible benefits to society. The audit also forms part of the state's financial oversight mechanism to ensure that public funds are managed transparently, accountably, and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
The submission of the Audit Report marked the final stage of the audit process, which began with an entry meeting, followed by the audit implementation, an exit meeting, and the preparation of the audit report on the Ministry's financial statements. The audit is mandated under Law No. 17 of 2003 on State Finance, which requires every ministry and government agency to submit financial statements to BPK as part of their accountability for state financial management.
BPK RI Board Member III, Akhsanul Khaq, explained that the audit was conducted in accordance with the State Financial Audit Standards (SPKN) and evaluated four key aspects: compliance with Government Accounting Standards, adequacy of disclosures, effectiveness of the internal control system, and compliance with prevailing laws and regulations.
"Based on these considerations, we concluded that 29 ministries/agencies and six Foreign Loan and Grant financial reports received an Wajar Tanpa Pengecualian (WTP). We appreciate the strong coordination and cooperation demonstrated throughout the process, which has significantly improved the follow-up rate on audit recommendations," said Akhsanul Khaq.

The Ministry's commitment to strengthening financial governance is also reflected in its achievement in implementing Follow-up Actions on Audit Recommendations (TLRHP). On April 7, 2026, the Ministry received an award from BPK for achieving a TLRHP completion rate exceeding 90 percent, demonstrating its strong commitment to implementing audit recommendations as part of enhancing its internal oversight system.
The event was also attended by several ministers and heads of government agencies. Minister Teuku Riefky was accompanied by Secretary of the Ministry/Secretary of the Agency, Dessy Ruhati, and Acting Inspector, Fahmy Akmal.
