“This event is not merely a sports competition, but also part of efforts to strengthen the creative industry ecosystem, particularly as the Ministry of Creative Economy has association partners across 21 creative economy subsectors with significant potential for collaboration,” said Teuku Riefky during a meeting with Sarga.co at the Ministry of Creative Economy office in Jakarta, Monday (24/8).

The meeting served as an opportunity to present the plans for the FIA Rallycross World Cup Jakarta 2026, including its implementation concept and strategic benefits for the national economy. The organizers also sought promotional support and the utilization of resources from the Ministry of Creative Economy to ensure the success of this world-class sportainment event.

The Minister of Creative Economy explained that major events such as this involve numerous creative economy subsectors, ranging from event management, visual communication design, digital content production, photography, videography, broadcasting, fashion, culinary, crafts, to automotive modification. Therefore, international sporting events not only offer competitive value, but also create tangible economic opportunities for creative economy players across Indonesia.

“The synergy among creative subsectors in this international event will serve as a key showcase for Indonesian innovation and creative works to global markets, especially if we can collaborate with local intellectual property (IP). This would attract not only automotive enthusiasts, but a much broader audience. The Ministry of Creative Economy is committed to overseeing and facilitating the integration of local creative industry players so they can take an active role in this event,” said the Minister of Creative Economy.
