Held at the Samosir Creative Hub on Thursday (October 15), the activity is part of the Creative Hub Activation Program, which aims to prepare creative business practitioners to better access financing sources.
Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya emphasized the role of Creative Hubs in connecting creative talent with industries and financing sources. According to him, these facilities must deliver tangible economic impacts, from business development to job creation.
“Creative Hubs must be more than just gathering spaces. We want to bring together talent, ideas, technology, industries, and funding sources so that creative potential can grow into competitive businesses, create jobs, and generate added value for regional and national economies,” Minister Riefky said.
Deputy for Strategic Creative Economy Development at the Ministry of Creative Economy Mohammed Ali Berawi highlighted the importance of strengthening business capacity so that creative economy practitioners can make optimal use of financing facilities. Through CreaFIN, participants gain an understanding of capital requirements, financing options, and partnership opportunities to develop their businesses in line with their products’ potential.
“We want this activity to deliver tangible benefits to creative economy practitioners in Samosir Regency, particularly by improving business readiness and competitiveness.
