Ministry of Creative Economy Welcomes Pangrango Harmoni as a Regional Creative Economy Showcase

Jakarta, September 23, 2026 – Minister of Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency, Teuku Riefky Harsya, positively welcomed the planned organization of Pangrango Harmoni – Creative Economy Festival at Cibodas Golf Park, West Java, on October 23–25, 2026.

Minister of Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency (Ekraf), Teuku Riefky Harsya, receives an audience with Barisan Penegak Indonesia Raya (BAPINDRA) at the Ministry of Creative Economy office, Jakarta, Wednesday (23/09/2026).

The Minister evaluated that the festival can serve as a space for promotion, development, marketing, and networking for creative economy actors, creative-based MSMEs, and communities.

“Pangrango Harmoni can serve as a platform to connect regional creativity with markets, communities, and the public. A festival like this not only showcases creative works, but also opens up opportunities for promotion, networking, and business development for creative economy actors,” the Minister stated during an audience with Barisan Penegak Indonesia Raya (BAPINDRA) at the Ministry of Creative Economy Office, Jakarta, Wednesday (9/23).

With the theme of “Creativity, Innovation, and Support for Creative Economy Growth,” the event is expected to unlock market access for creative economy actors from regional to national levels, while enhancing creativity, skills, innovation, and competitiveness.

The Pangrango Harmoni lineup combines a Creative Space & Exhibition featuring works from crafts, music, fashion, design, content, digital technology, and audio-visual sectors. This festival also features culinary offerings, culture-based games through Festival Layang-Layang, as well as art and entertainment stages presenting traditional and modern performances.

The Organizing Committee Chairman of Pangrango Harmoni, Achsanul Haq Dault, said the event was designed as a series of activities directly related to creative economy development. The presence of Pangrango Harmoni is expected to contribute to efforts in developing industrialization based on local potential in villages, one of which is through Festival Layang-Layang, which serves as a space to explore and develop creators' creativity.

“We aim for the organization of Pangrango Harmoni to be a successful and sustainable event. Moving forward, we hope this event will be held annually in various locations as part of the efforts to foster the growth of innovation and creativity in Indonesia,” he said.

Also present at the audience were Chairman of BAPINDRA Suherlan and Organizing Committee Secretary Yandri Akbar Pasaribu. The Minister was accompanied by the Director of Fine Arts and Performing Arts at the Ministry of Creative Economy, Dadam Mahdar.
