This initiative, proposed by the Coordinating Ministry for Infrastructure to the Ministry of Creative Economy, is part of a larger effort to activate public spaces airports, stations, terminals, and ports by showcasing works from Indonesia’s creative industry, particularly during the festive period of Ramadan and the 2025 Eid travel season.
"The Ministry of Creative Economy remains committed to supporting creators by expanding their exposure through collaborations with various stakeholders, including today’s partnership with KAI at Gambir Station. Future collaborations with the Ministry of Transportation are currently in coordination for similar activations at terminals and ports.
"PT KAI highly appreciates this swift and dynamic partnership with the Ministry of Creative Economy. It signals our commitment to continuously adapt and innovate through creative collaborations like this. We aim to deliver a unique and delightful customer experience from one station to another, in line with this year’s Eid tagline: ‘Trains Moving, Hearts Longing.’ We hope this collaboration not only revitalizes the creative economy but also strengthens Indonesia’s transportation ecosystem to be more competitive," stated Didiek Hartantyo, President Director of KAI.
