IFEX 2025 is a collaborative initiative between the Indonesian Furniture and Craft Industry Association (HIMKI) and PT Dyandra Promosindo. The exhibition aims to introduce Indonesian furniture and craft products to the global market while opening up greater opportunities for local creative industries to grow and expand.

“Currently, the Ministry of Creative Economy is developing various creative economy sectors, including fine arts and performing arts. Every subsector of the creative economy needs a stage to showcase their products and works. IFEX is one of the best platforms for that. We will continue to provide more stages—both nationally and internationally—to present Indonesian creative industries to the world. This is a new engine of growth we should be proud of,” said Irene.
The Ministry of Creative Economy/Creative Economy Agency has participated in IFEX since last year. At IFEX 2024, the event recorded transactions totaling USD 150,000 or around IDR 2.44 billion, with buyers from countries such as Bulgaria, Seychelles, India, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States.

This year, the Ministry was allocated a 66 m² exhibition space by Dyandra Promosindo to showcase the works of four creative economy players in the home décor sector: Abbacraft (Jakarta), Maharani (Solo), Craftote (Solo), and Manamu (Bali).
Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene underlined that IFEX 2025 is a key opportunity for creative industry players to expand their networks, gain exposure, and break into export markets.
“Our creativity should not only be recognized as ‘Made in Indonesia,’ but as ‘Created by Indonesia.’ Indonesia is a source of inspiration, and we must be kings in our own country while also conquering the global market,” she stated.

She also expressed optimism regarding the prospects of Indonesia’s furniture and craft industries.
“I witnessed firsthand the enthusiasm of international buyers at IFEX 2025. Many of them already have full orders for this year—this is a great sign for the growth of our industry. The high Domestic Component Level (TKDN) in the products on display also proves that this industry has great potential to generate broad employment for Indonesians,” she added.
