Jakarta, 7 October 2025 — Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya encouraged collaboration with global agencies such as Museum Studio to address the capacity challenges of creative talent. The Minister of Creative Economy emphasized that cooperation in training and mentoring for designers and cultural managers will be a priority.

“We see great potential to collaborate in training, mentoring, and creative education for museum professionals, designers, and cultural managers in Indonesia,” said the Minister of Creative Economy during an audience with Museum Studio at the Ministry of Creative Economy, Jakarta, Tuesday, 7 October 2025.
The Minister of Creative Economy explained that collaboration with Museum Studio could be a strategic step in developing human resource capacity in the cultural and design sectors, as well as managing Indonesia’s creative ecosystem to compete on the global stage.
“Additionally, we want to explore joint research and consulting regarding the contribution of cultural centers to the local creative economy, as well as collaboration in preparing masterplans and design strategies for the development or revitalization of museums, cultural centers, and creative hubs across the country,” said the Minister of Creative Economy.

The Minister of Creative Economy also conveyed that the creative economy has become a key driver of national economic growth. By prioritizing creativity and innovation, this sector is expected to become a sustainable and inclusive new source of growth, engaging young talent and creative players throughout Indonesia.
According to the Minister of Creative Economy, the creative economy is not only about products and services but also about cultural values, identity, and the ability to create added value from ideas and creativity. “We believe that the creative economy is the new engine of growth for our nation. As I often say, it is Indonesia’s ‘new mine’—a mine of ideas, works, and imagination with high economic value,” he added.

After hearing Vincent’s presentation, Minister of Creative Economy Riefky welcomed Museum Studio’s initiative to collaborate with the Ministry of Creative Economy. “We will follow up on this potential cooperation further to provide tangible benefits for creative economy practitioners and cultural institutions in Indonesia,” said the Minister of Creative Economy.
As a follow-up to this audience, the Ministry plans to invite several relevant associations and institutions to discuss concrete forms of collaboration with Museum Studio. This partnership is expected to serve as a starting point for knowledge exchange, design innovation, and strengthening Indonesia’s position in the global creative ecosystem.
