Jakarta, January 14, 2025 – Deputy Minister of Creative Economy/Deputy Head of the Creative Economy Agency Irene Umar welcomed an audience from Quantum Temple at the Sapta Pesona Building, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. Deputy Minister Irene emphasized the importance of collaboration to develop and promote Indonesia’s cultural heritage.
During the meeting, Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene highlighted the need for innovative ideas through collaboration between Deputy Minister of Creative Economy and Quantum Temple to enhance the promotion of Indonesian cultural heritage. This partnership is expected to raise public awareness and appreciation for Indonesian culture while supporting the growth of a sustainable and innovative creative industry.
“Collaboration between the Ministry of Creative Economy and Quantum Temple will be key to developing innovative ideas that promote Indonesian culture within the creative industry,” said Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene.
Muhammad Neil El Himam, Deputy for Digital and Technology Creativity, expressed hope that this collaboration would enhance the promotion of Indonesian culture through innovative strategies and AI-powered content. This approach is expected to elevate global awareness and appreciation of Indonesia’s rich cultural heritage while reinforcing its position as a creative and culturally rich nation in the digital era.
“We need to consider art and create policies that support creators working with AI. Indonesia doesn’t just need language but also engaging content like trailers. For example, Indonesia's rich and unique batik patterns could be explored and presented through platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, and others,” said Muhammad Neil El Himam.
Meanwhile, Linda Adami, Founder of Quantum Temple, emphasized the significance of this collaboration in expanding market reach, developing infrastructure, and enhancing local community skills and awareness. She expressed confidence that working with the Ministry of Creative Economy could lead to the creation of new systems that bolster the creative economy sector.
“There is much to be done, and I believe the role and partnership with the government are crucial in understanding how to expand market reach, from infrastructure development to enhancing skills and capabilities within local communities, as well as addressing regulations. New technologies are emerging, and to successfully introduce them to the market, various developments are needed,” said Linda Adami.
The event was also attended by Muhammad Neil El Himam (Deputy for Digital and Technology Creativity), Yuana Rochma Astuti (Director of Digital Content), and Raymond (IT Manager at Quantum Temple).
