Through this process, downstreaming occurs, creating economic commercialization,” said Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya during a visit from ASEPHI at Autograph Tower Thamrin Nine, Jakarta, on Wednesday, 13 August 2025.

Minister Teuku Riefky stated that INACRAFT 2025 could serve as a platform to socialize intellectual property registration for local commodities to compete in international markets. He emphasized the importance of understanding the Madrid Protocol, the international trademark registration system managed by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), as outlined in the Ministry of Ekraf’s MoU with WIPO signed in August 2025.

“With support from WIPO, we may be able to set up a booth at INACRAFT to raise awareness regarding intellectual property registration for export products,” explained Minister Teuku Riefky.

During the meeting, ASEPHI Chairman Muchsin Ridjan expressed his appreciation for the Ministry of Ekraf’s support in previous and upcoming INACRAFT events.

“At the INACRAFT held last February, we recorded 66,192 visitors from 11 countries. We would like to thank the Minister for his presence as a form of support at that event. We hope that in INACRAFT Vol. 4, we can collaborate to further enhance the impact of this exhibition,” said Muchsin.

“The Ministry of Ekraf has many points of intersection with ASEPHI, especially at INACRAFT. Almost 70 percent of the products are fashion, along with culinary and crafts. Therefore, we hope the Ministry of Ekraf can contribute here,” said Hatman.

INACRAFT, initiated by ASEPHI, is a prestigious international-scale exhibition in Indonesia that promotes handicraft products while empowering young creative entrepreneurs. ASEPHI collaborates with Mediatama Event to organize this event.
