Jakarta, 15 November 2025 – The Ministry of Creative Economy/Creative Economy Agency officially handed over the Public Service Announcement (PSA) for the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026) to the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) during the Technical Coordination and Activity Evaluation Meeting 2025 as well as the Final Preparation for SE2026 in Jakarta, Saturday (15/11).

The handover was conducted directly by Minister of Creative Economy/Head of Creative Economy Agency, Teuku Riefky Harsya, to the Head of BPS RI, Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti. This initiative is a continuation of both institutions’ commitment to collaborate, in line with directives from President Prabowo.
In his remarks, Minister Riefky expressed appreciation for the strategic collaboration between the two institutions, particularly for the commitment to empower local animators in public communication for government institutions.
“We extend our appreciation to BPS for the ongoing collaboration, and to RUS Animation for partnering in creating the PSA for the 2026 Economic Census. This is a concrete step in implementing the MoU between the Ministry of Creative Economy and BPS to strengthen public communication through a creative approach,” he said.

This collaboration brought together BPS and RUS Animation, a national animation industry player, to produce outreach materials that are easy for the public to understand, while also strengthening the animation subsector as part of the creative economy ecosystem.
Meanwhile, Head of BPS RI, Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti, expressed pride and appreciation for the initiative and contribution of the Ministry of Creative Economy in facilitating young animators in collaboration with BPS.
“This short video carries significant meaning for us. It represents a tangible form of inter-institutional synergy in ensuring the success of the 2026 Economic Census. The work of young animators from SMK Raden Umar Said Kudus demonstrates our outstanding creativity. We view this video as ‘A Token of Friendship’ that we will continue to cherish,” she said.

She emphasized that SE2026 is not only a statistical agenda but also a moment to ensure that creative economy actors are accurately recorded as an essential part of the national economy. The PSA material will be used as official outreach content by BPS and disseminated through various public communication channels.
“The Economic Census next year will also generate important indicators for the creative economy sector. SE2026 will provide a true portrait of Indonesia’s creative economy. We are determined that SE2026 will become the best and most successful economic census in Indonesia’s history,” said the Head of BPS.
The event was attended by Deputy Head of BPS RI, Sonny Harry Budiutomo Harmadi; CEO of RUS Animation Studio and PSA creator Roy Tok; SVP Corporate and Strategic Affairs of Blibli, Yudhi Pramono, as a strategic partner in producing the SE2026 PSA; as well as BPS staff from provinces to regencies/cities across Indonesia.
