Aceh, 24 February, 2026 – Minister of Creative Economy / Head of the Creative Economy Agency Teuku Riefky Harsya emphasized the momentum of Ramadan as an opportunity to strengthen a community-based creative economy, starting from mosques and Islamic boarding schools. Through the Safari Ramadan Nyaman Bersama in Aceh, Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky also strengthened the relationship between the government and the community as a reflection of social concern.
The Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, reviewed the normalization of the Jojo River and the suspension bridge in Tiba Mesjid Village and Jojo Village, Aceh, Tuesday (02/24/2026).
“Alhamdulillah, today we are able to reconnect in this blessed place in preparation for breaking the fast together. God willing, we will continue to collaborate to build the Aceh that we love and are proud of,” said Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky ahead of the iftar gathering at Darul Huda Bambi Mosque on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.
Various activities under the Safari Ramadan Nyaman Bersama in Aceh were carried out through a series of engagements, including social visits (silaturahmi), pilgrimages, inspections of takjil markets, communal iftar gatherings, and friendly interactions with mosque administrators as well as Islamic boarding school communities. This working visit opened a space for dialogue between the government and the creative economy ecosystem in experiencing the spirit of Ramadan while fostering collaboration with local communities.

During his brief visits across several cities in Aceh, Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky conveyed various meaningful insights and people-centered economic values encountered along the way, highlighting how Ramadan can create a shared sense of comfort. He also emphasized that the role of the Ministry of Creative Economy will continue to focus on developing talent, skills, and the capacity of creative economy practitioners in the regions.
“At present, the Ministry of Creative Economy is more focused on developing the skills, talents, and capabilities of creative industry practitioners so that they can help drive community activities within mosques and Islamic boarding schools,” stated Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky.

The Safari Ramadan activities were carried out in a solemn and comfortable atmosphere. This agenda is expected to coordinate sustainable collaboration between the government, mosque and Islamic boarding school administrators, and the community in strengthening a community-based creative economy ecosystem throughout Ramadan.
The Safari Ramadan began with a pilgrimage at Ruhul Fatayat Seulimeum, followed by congregational zuhr prayer at the Grand Mosque Al-Falah Sigli. After reviewing SPPG Lampeude Baroh 2, Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky also inspected the Garuda Suspension Bridge over the Tiro River, which connects Tiba Masjid Village and Trubue Village in the Pidie area.

Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky also took the opportunity to visit Al Husna Mosque in Pidie to perform the asr prayer and observe the preparation of Aceh’s Bubur Kanji, a dish rich in spices. The journey continued with purchasing takjil at Beureuneun Market, a pilgrimage to Kemukiman Bambi, and concluded with a communal iftar at Darul Huda Bambi Mosque. The working visit ended at Dayah MUDI Mesjid Raya Samalanga Islamic Boarding School in Bireuen, followed by a sahur gathering.
“Current economic growth across all sectors must be supported by creative skills, forming the initial foundation for economic revival from the regions. Therefore, the momentum of Ramadan is not only about increasing devotion in worship, but also about strengthening our commitment to building the creative economy through activities that foster shared comfort,” said Tuan Wali Jabbar, who delivered a short sermon (kultum) before the iftar gathering.

During the Safari Ramadan in Aceh, Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky was accompanied by Special Staff to the Minister for Strategic and Inter-Institutional Issues Rian Syaf, along with Ministerial Expert Staff Panji Purboyo.
