Jakarta, 12 March, 2026 – The Ministry of Creative Economy/Creative Economy Agency (Ekraf), through its Islamic Spiritual Guidance (BINROHIS) program, held a Nuzulul Quran commemoration and iftar gathering with all employees. The event aimed to strengthen ties and enhance the spirit of dedication during the holy month of Ramadan.

Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya, together with Vice Minister of Creative Economy Irene Umar, attended the Nuzulul Quran commemoration and iftar gathering with all Ekraf employees at the Film Pesona Indonesia Building, Jakarta, Thursday (12/03/2026).
The Minister and Vice Minister also expressed appreciation to all ministry employees for their dedication in carrying out their duties while observing the fast, while continuing to foster a sense of togetherness and comfort.
“Ramadan teaches us the importance of ukhuwah and togetherness. Mutual trust, support, and respect can serve as a strong foundation for maintaining solidarity and building a positive work spirit within the Ministry of Creative Economy. I would also like to express my appreciation to all employees who continue to carry out their responsibilities with dedication while observing the fast,” said the Minister during the event held at the Film Pesona Indonesia Building, Jakarta, Thursday (12/3).

The Minister of Creative Economy added that the values contained in the Qur’an are highly relevant as guidance in daily life as well as in carrying out duties as public servants. The event also served as a momentum to strengthen spiritual values, reinforce bonds of togetherness, and foster a spirit of dedication in delivering public service.
“Through the commemoration of Nuzulul Quran, we are reminded to continuously uphold the values of the Qur’an as guidance in life and as a strong foundation in carrying out every responsibility entrusted to us. Lastly, I would like to wish you a happy Eid al-Fitr. Please forgive any mistakes, both physical and emotional,” said the Minister of Creative Economy.

In addition to the recitation of Qur’anic verses, the event continued with a religious lecture delivered by Habib Abdul Qodir bin Zaid Ba’abud, who emphasized the importance of Qur’anic knowledge, creativity, and universal values in both life and work.
“The Qur’an is a source of knowledge. Whoever reads the Qur’an will gain wisdom, inspiration, creativity, peace of mind, and light in their life,” said Habib Abdul Qodir in his sermon.

The Minister of Creative Economy was accompanied by his spouse, Adinda Yuanita, who also serves as Advisor to the Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) of the Ministry. Other officials in attendance included Secretary of the Ministry/Secretary of the Creative Economy Agency Dessy Ruhati; Deputy for Strategic Development Cecep Rukendi; Deputy for Cultural Creativity and Design Yuke Sri Rahayu; Deputy for Digital Creativity and Technology Muhammad Neil El Himam; Deputy for Media Creativity Agustini Rahayu; as well as the Minister’s Special Staff, Expert Staff, and all echelon I and II officials within the Ministry of Creative Economy.

The event was held in a solemn atmosphere and concluded with a collective prayer for breaking the fast attended by all employees. The Ramadan momentum is expected to serve as a reminder that dedication to the nation can continue alongside the improvement of worship and personal character in daily life. The event also served as a gathering moment that fostered togetherness and comfort within the Ministry of Creative Economy ahead of the Eid al-Fitr celebration.
