Bandung, July 11, 2025 – Minister of Transmigration Muhammad Iftitah Sulaiman Suryanagara has officially earned his doctoral degree after successfully defending his dissertation on voter behavior in the 2024 Presidential Election. The promotion was held at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad), Bandung, on Friday, July 11, 2025. The event was attended by Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) and Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya, marking a moment of synergy between academia and public service.

In his remarks, Coordinating Minister AHY expressed his appreciation for Muhammad Iftitah’s academic dedication. According to him, this achievement underscores the importance of academic foundations in designing strategic, sustainable, and inclusive public policies, especially in the context of regional development and equitable economic growth.
"We all appreciate the scientific oration delivered by Dr. Iftitah, titled Eclecticism in Voter Behavior in the 2024 Presidential Election. I believe it offers genuine novelty. Hopefully, it contributes both theoretically and practically to strategies that can be implemented by anyone. We hope this work continues to be studied and applied to support greater success in political service and public leadership," said Minister AHY.

Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya also expressed his pride in the achievement of his cabinet colleague. He emphasized that a spirit of continuous learning and academic advancement is an essential value in national leadership. "I came here to show support and appreciation for this remarkable accomplishment. Earning a doctorate is not just about the title—it’s a commitment to intellectual quality and responsibility in carrying out public duties," said the Minister of Creative Economy.

The Minister also shared that the event served as a personal reflection, reigniting his motivation to return to academic life. Witnessing his colleague complete doctoral studies amid his ministerial responsibilities has inspired him to pursue the same path at the right time.
"Seeing my fellow minister achieve his doctorate while serving in public office gives me strong motivation. I believe that enhancing personal capacity through education is a key part of our dedication to the nation," he concluded.
