“Indonesia has the largest market in Southeast Asia with a population exceeding 280 million. Through the Mahir Digital platform, we can reach a broader global market. Therefore, it is essential to identify the right platforms for learning about digital assets and understanding the characteristics of the target market. KURMA 2.0 demonstrates that collaboration and adaptation through the utilization of technology can enhance one’s capabilities during this Ramadan,” said Deputy Minister Irene Umar during her presentation at KURMA 2.0 at Menara 165, Cilandak, Jakarta, Sunday, March 8, 2026.
The KURMA 2.0 event served as a forum for networking and inspiring discussions, attracting nearly 250 professionals and community representatives from the creative industry, particularly those focused on digital marketing. Some participants are already members of the Mahir Digital Platform, which provides regular guidance through offline and online classes, daily consultations, and a structured curriculum consisting of 14 chapters and over 70 educational video contents covering topics such as mindset, product research, traffic management, digital advertising preparation, and many other aspects of digital business.

In addition, Deputy Minister of Creative Economy, Irene Umar, stated that the Mahir Digital Platform aligns with the Gen Matic Program initiated by the Ministry of Creative Economy / Creative Economy Agency as a flagship initiative aimed at enhancing the competencies of young people in leveraging digital economic opportunities as affiliators and professional content creators through creative industry-based training.
“KURMA 2.0 focuses on strengthening digital literacy, developing digital entrepreneurship, and empowering communities through the use of technology. These three aspects are highly relevant to fostering collective comfort in building an inclusive, innovative, and sustainable creative economy ecosystem, thereby opening broad opportunities in the digital era,” added Deputy Minister Irene Umar.
Deputy Minister Irene Umar also emphasized that young people with technological proficiency can generate income from home as long as they remain productive. The digital era is not measured by how long an individual engages in business, but by the confidence of those willing to learn and adapt to technology.
“When someone is able to create digital assets, their work can be purchased repeatedly by many people, potentially generating passive income,” added Deputy Minister Irene Umar.

The potential for collaboration between Mahir Digital and the Gen Matic Program can take shape through joint training, business mentoring, and guidance for program participants. With extensive networks and expertise, this collaboration is expected to generate a greater impact on the growth of Indonesia’s digital economy.
“This Ramadan Digital Skills Lecture is a special offline class by Mahir Digital during the month of Ramadan. The difference is that it is open to the public, not just members. In KURMA 2.0, participants not only learn but also break the fast and perform Tarawih together with like-minded circles. It provides a space where we can learn from experts, as well as business and digital marketing practitioners,” said Fahmi Auditya, Founder of Mahir Digital.

The Ramadan Digital Skills Lecture is expected not only to serve as a ceremonial event but also to foster a continuously growing community that supports one another in developing digital-era businesses. Participants are encouraged to take initiative, experiment, and leverage the Ramadan period to reflect on life goals and create work that has a meaningful impact on society.
“Another exciting aspect of KURMA 2.0 is that participants not only gain new knowledge and insights, but also receive an energy boost from Mahir Digital members who have successfully ‘broken the egg’ and earned hundreds of millions while learning at Mahir Digital. For those new to digital marketing or online selling, this is the perfect time to directly learn the success formulas from experienced digital practitioners and experts,” added Fahmi Auditya.
