Jakarta, 4 February 2026 – The Minister of Creative Economy / Head of the Creative Economy Agency, Teuku Riefky Harsya, welcomed the initiative to hold Kult Kreo 2026. The Minister emphasized that the event, initiated by Dayakrea Mega Pradana, aligns with the Ministry’s mission to promote innovation and creativity through the development of intellectual property (IP) in a national-scale event.
Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, received Dayakrea Mega Pradana, the organizer of Kult Kreo 2026, at the Ministry of Creative Economy / Creative Economy Agency office in Jakarta on Wednesday, 4 February 2026.
“The Creative Economy Agency sees Kult Kreo 2026 as an event with the potential to enhance the quality, capacity, and competitiveness of national IP. This moment can also involve representatives from IP financing institutions such as MAPPI, the Himbara banking network, the Financial Services Authority (OJK), and other relevant stakeholders, strengthening the ecosystem for intellectual property-based financing,” said Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya during the audience with the organizers of Kult Kreo 2026 at Autograph Tower, Jakarta, on Wednesday, 4 February 2026.
Kult Kreo 2026 serves as a national collaboration platform, featuring exhibitions, inspirational forums, award ceremonies, and creative performances as a space to showcase the creative economy potential from various regions while opening opportunities for sustainable strategic collaborations. The event is scheduled to take place from 8 to 11 October 2026 at Nusantara International Convention Exhibition (NICE) PIK 2, targeting 80,000 visitors and the participation of 150 multinational brands.
“The event concept has the potential to attract a large audience; however, the creative economy subsectors involved are currently too broad and need to be curated to identify which IPs can be strategically collaborated with associations under the Creative Economy Agency. The event concept could also be designed similarly to Brightspot Market, Jakarta Toys and Comic Fair, and other creative events,” added Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya.
In line with this statement, Deputy for Strategic Development of the Creative Economy, Cecep Rukendi, noted that Kult Kreo 2026 will serve as a reference and must follow guidance to ensure future collaborations deliver added value and optimal benefits.

“The scale of the event is still too broad, so the subsectors involved need to be reselected to better represent the objectives of Kult Kreo 2026. Perhaps 3 to 4 subsectors could be prioritized, and we will hold further technical discussions regarding this event,” added Deputy Cecep.
Dayakrea Mega Pradana is a company committed to developing and strengthening the national creative economy ecosystem through cross-sector collaborative initiatives. The company actively promotes synergy among the government, business actors, creative communities, and academia to enhance productivity and competitiveness in Indonesia’s creative economy sector.
