The Nusantara Movers Award, held at iNews Tower, Jakarta, on Thursday, 20 November 2025, is now in its third year. This year’s theme, “Synergy for the Nation: Building a Competitive Future for Indonesia”, aims to recognize ministries, institutions, local governments, companies, and individuals who have made extraordinary contributions across various fields of national development.
Indonesia’s creative industry has shown significant progress in recent years, becoming a driving force for the new economy. It generates widespread employment across subsectors including culinary, crafts, gaming, applications, design, music, and fashion. A healthy and growing creative ecosystem also nurtures globally competitive young talent.
In addition to job creation, the creative industry strengthens the national economy through increasing contributions to the national GDP. These positive outcomes reflect the high creative capacity of the community and Indonesia’s increasingly strong position in the regional creative industry value chain.
Minister Riefky emphasized that the creative economy is not only about employment creation and GDP contribution but also has significant potential to boost exports and attract new investment. This demonstrates that the creative ecosystem has become a strategic sector for national economic strengthening.
“The President has entrusted the Ministry of Creative Economy to ensure growth in exports, investment, and workforce absorption in the creative sector. Moving forward, we will continue to enhance the capacity of industry actors so that Indonesian creative products become increasingly competitive and capable of dominating the global market, not just thriving domestically,” Minister Riefky concluded.

“These awards are given to institutions and individuals who have contributed to national progress. We hope the awards will not only motivate but also inspire Indonesians to continue moving forward and creating for a brighter future,” Angela said during a press session.
