Jakarta, 27 February, 2026 — Deputy Minister of Creative Economy/Deputy Head of the Creative Economy Agency (Creative Economy) Irene Umar conducted a visitation and attended the Bagi-Bagi Takjil Bersama activity as part of the Harmoni Imlek Nusantara series at Lapangan Banteng, Jakarta, on Thursday (27/2). The event was also attended by Deputy Minister of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection Veronica Tan, as well as the Special Envoy of the President of the Republic of Indonesia for Youth Development and Arts Workers Raffi Ahmad.

Irene Umar emphasized that cross-community collaboration is key to strengthening an inclusive and sustainable creative economy ecosystem. According to her, the activity reflects a spirit of togetherness that unites religion, culture, creativity, and social care.
“Through activities like this, we aim to create a tangible space for collaboration among creative players, communities, and the public. The creative economy is not merely about products, but also about sharing values, strengthening tolerance, and building social harmony,” said Irene Umar.
She added that Harmoni Imlek Nusantara demonstrates how cultural celebrations can be creatively curated while simultaneously generating economic and social impact for the community.
Meanwhile, Raffi Ahmad stated that Harmoni Imlek Nusantara forms part of efforts to strengthen interfaith acculturation through the creative economy.
“So this reflects that tolerance among religious communities is essential. Harmoni Imlek Nusantara serves as an alternative family entertainment during the month of Ramadan,” he said.
The Bagi-Bagi Takjil event featured a collaboration between the Deputy Minister of Creative Economy and culinary creators Daddy Kuliner and Jejouw, distributing 1,000 portions of coconut jelly drinks to the public ahead of iftar.

The program was also supported by Gococo, which provided coconut jelly products as the main offering. This support from the creative business sector further strengthens the synergy between the government, industry players, and communities in driving a culture-based economy.
Content creator and Founder of Urban Sneaker Society Jeffry Jouw stated that his presence at Harmoni Imlek Nusantara was part of a broader acculturation expressed through diverse offerings.
“This event is organized for the nation. The red-and-white color of the iced drink reflects an extraordinary spirit. In addition, this event represents acculturation for everyone—the food is all halal, so we can share a meal together,” he said.
