Jakarta, 15 November 2025 – Deputy Minister of Creative Economy/Deputy Head of Creative Economy Agency, Irene Umar, attended the concert celebrating the 25-year musical journey of Andien. Deputy Minister Irene highlighted that the music subsector is a strategic force in accelerating the creative economy as the new engine of growth.

“Music is a bridge for collaboration. On stages like this, we witness the convergence of talent, technology, and cross-disciplinary creativity that generates economic value. It demonstrates that music is not merely entertainment, but a strategic force that strengthens Indonesia’s position on the global stage,” said Deputy Minister Irene Umar on Saturday, 15 November 2025.
The concert, titled Suarasmara – 25 Years of Musical Celebration, was held at Istora Senayan, Jakarta. Deputy Minister Irene noted that large-scale performances serve as an important indicator of the resilience and maturity of Indonesia’s creative ecosystem.

She emphasized how the entire production chain—from music composition, stage design, artistic direction, fashion, performance technology, to intellectual property management—illustrates a connected creative value chain that continues to grow.
Suarasmara featured four acts reflecting Andien’s 25-year journey, enriched with new arrangements and collaborations across generations of creators. The enthusiastic reception from thousands of attendees demonstrated growing public confidence in local works, a key element in expanding the national music market.

During one segment, Andien shared reflections on the meaning of her creative journey alongside her supporters.
“This is not just about music. It is a shared space where we connect, appreciate one another, and celebrate the journey we have built together,” said Andien, met with resounding applause.
Deputy Minister Irene stressed that the success of performances like this serves as a tangible example of how music can drive economic, social, and cultural value simultaneously. She also emphasized the importance of strengthening hexahelix collaboration between the government, industry players, communities, academia, media, and international partners as a foundation for enhancing Indonesia’s global competitiveness.

“This is the creative ecosystem we want to build: strong, collaborative, and sustainable. Through collaboration and capacity building for creative talents, we open greater opportunities for Indonesian talents to move up and penetrate international markets,” Irene Umar added.
To accelerate the growth of the music sector, the Ministry of Creative Economy continues to strengthen strategic initiatives, ranging from improving the competencies of creative actors, reinforcing the supply chain, to cross-sector collaborations and global partnerships as part of the roadmap toward Golden Indonesia 2045.
