Jakarta, October 12, 2025 – The Ministry of Creative Economy expressed its support for a strategic cross-industry collaboration between Crystalin, Tango, Garuda Indonesia, and Tahilalats through the launch of “Exploration of Happiness.” This initiative presents innovative products from national creative industries packaged with inspirational designs that unite Indonesia’s aviation sector with digital art.
Vice Minister of Creative Economy, Irene Umar, attended the Press Conference & Speech for the Grand Launching of OT x Sky Explorer at the Crystalin Run Xperience 2025, held at the Atrium of Lippo Mall Nusantara, Jakarta, on Sunday (October 12, 2025).
“This is a concrete example that collaboration can be done quickly, and shows the growing awareness to collaborate with local intellectual property (IP). It is time for us to be proud to be Indonesian, wear it with pride, because Indonesia is no less than the rest of the world,” said Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene Umar at the launch event held at Lippo Mall Nusantara, Jakarta, as part of the Crystalin Run Xperience 2025, which gathered over 8,400 runners from across Indonesia.
The collaboration introduces two flagship products: Crystalin X Sky Explorer and Tango Brownies Crispy X Sky Explorer, featuring special-edition packaging themed around four iconic Indonesian destinations: Bali, Bromo, Borobudur, and Lake Toba. These products will be available on all Garuda Indonesia flights, Garuda Experience Store outlets, and retail stores nationwide.
The launch of Sky Explorer represents not just a commercial milestone, but also the practical application of Asta Ekraf, particularly the clusters of “Ekraf Kaya,” “Pasar Ekraf,” and “Sinergi Ekraf.” The initiative also continues the collaboration between Garuda and Tahilalats that began on January 17, expanding into new cross-sector business ventures.

Through Tahilalats’ character—highly popular among young audiences—the product designs become more relatable, engaging, and entertaining, allowing the collaboration to tap into new markets in the lifestyle and travel segments.
CS2UPA Chief Executive Officer Donny noted that this collaboration symbolizes how local industries can advance through creativity and innovation.
“Carrying the theme ‘Exploration of Happiness,’ one of our reasons for developing this cross-industry collaboration is our pride in local products,” he said.
Garuda Indonesia President Director Wamildan added that the partnership reflects Garuda’s commitment to promoting Indonesian creative products on every flight.

The launch of Sky Explorer marks a significant step in connecting the aviation, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), and digital creative content industries under a unified narrative, strengthening an inclusive and globally competitive national creative economy ecosystem.
