Jakarta, April 26, 2025 – Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene Umar expressed her appreciation for the Borobudur documentary beautifully presented during The Great Love, Vesak Concert. Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene highlighted the extraordinary combination of Borobudur as a cultural heritage and the creative economy.

“We appreciate The Great Love, Vesak Concert, which not only presented beautiful spiritual music but also showcased an extraordinary Borobudur documentary by DAAI TV,” said Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene at the event held at Tzu Chi International Hall Jakarta on Saturday, April 26, 2025.
“This demonstrates how creativity can be used to promote our cultural heritage while also enhancing spiritual awareness,” added Deputy Minister Irene.
The Great Love, Vesak Concert by DAAI TV packaged the 2025 Vesak celebration through a Borobudur documentary. Deputy Minister Irene described Borobudur as a symbol of spiritual journey for Buddhists that can inspire the wider community through creative economy innovation.
“Borobudur is not only a cultural heritage site but also a universal symbol of spiritual journey. I invite everyone to watch the documentary ‘Spiritual Journey and World Harmony’ on DAAI TV on May 3, 6, and 20 to experience its beauty,” said Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene.

Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene also noted that the Ministry of Creative Economy continues to support creative economy development in Borobudur, including through the recently completed Borobudur Art Village and Borobudur Museum. She emphasized that the Ministry can play a role as a matchmaker for creative collaborations in the area, enabling the growth of a sustainable creative economy.
“With the creative economy, we can unlock Borobudur’s potential as an invaluable world cultural heritage. Through creativity and innovation, we can create products and services that are not only unique but also highly valuable and sustainable,” said Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene.
