“Creative Market can become the heartbeat of Jakarta’s creative environment. When we purchase something here, we can directly contribute to supporting fellow creators or creative economy practitioners who are selling their products. This can be part of accelerating Jakarta’s innovation as one of Indonesia’s globally competitive, adaptive, and sustainable cities,” said Deputy Minister Irene at the Creative Market venue located at the Dukuh Atas Multi-Purpose Pedestrian Bridge (JPM), Jakarta, on Thursday, 23 October 2025.
The presence of Deputy Minister Irene also reflected support for local brands so their products can gain wider recognition. She noted that the Creative Market at JPM Dukuh Atas serves as an epicenter of activities as well as a collaborative space within the Transit Oriented Development (TOD) area.

“I am pleased that Creative Market provides an opportunity to showcase local brands, such as craft and fashion products, to commuters passing through. Hopefully, this collaboration can continue and further strengthen Indonesia’s creative ecosystem,” she said.
According to the 2025 Global Time Out Survey, Jakarta ranks 17th globally for the best public transportation system and second in Southeast Asia. Against this backdrop, JID 2025 adopts the concept of a “15-Minute City” and the spirit of “Explore, Connect, Impact!”, positioning the Dukuh Atas area as an urban playground where anyone can directly experience a variety of creative initiatives and experiments that have made tangible contributions to urban transformation.

“Actually, the vacant spaces in this area can continue to be activated so that the spirit becomes more optimal and adds vibrancy. Dukuh Atas was chosen because it remains part of a walkable city where everything is interconnected. Jakarta’s future transportation development will focus more on interconnectivity to make it easier for residents to carry out their activities,” said Deftrianov, Deputy Head of Jakarta’s Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda).
Over five days, from 21–25 October 2025, Creative Market offers a fun and interactive experience as a celebration of innovation and Jakarta’s future as a global city. Participating booths at the event have gone through a curation process and include D’koes Craft, Rubysh, Fasthershop, Rayama, Oh My Craft!, Baut & Bot, Senara, Buddy Pekerti, Keboen Keyang, Limittes.id, HerNil, Mora & Olfi, Bintang Sempurna, 3Second, Kok Bisa, the Jakarta Transportation Discussion Forum (FDTJ), and Sahabat Gizi.
