Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene stated that the Ministry of Creative Economy/Creative Economy Agency supports initiatives that offer added value and have the potential for a global market, such as Face of Muslimah Creative 2025.
"Indonesia is one of the countries that has a creative economic source through designers, positioning itself as a modest fashion hub for Muslims. The face of Muslimah Creative is a wonderful moment for young Muslim women who could become inspiring figures or take the next step into the spotlight. This aligns with the growing trend of modest Muslim fashion that continues to capture global attention," said Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene, during her attendance at the Grand Final of Face of Muslimah Creative 2025 at Ruang Pola, Bappeda Building, Jakarta City Hall, on Tuesday, March 18, 2025.
Deputy Minister of Creative Economy emphasized that this event is not only a search for talented Muslimah content creators but also serves as a platform for Indonesia's halal creative industry. Initiated by Scarf Media, this annual event aims to create Muslimah icons and spread positive messages through every piece of content produced.

Irene, accompanied by Deputy for Culture and Design Creativity, Yuke Sri Rahayu, also congratulated the finalists who competed. The participants gained valuable experiences, such as mentorship, which they can take with them, thus fostering creativity.
"As content creators continue to grow, creative Muslimah figures must also represent their peaceful, praiseworthy, and loving religion. I hope that Face of Muslimah Creative is not just about how Muslim women dress or fashion as a social identity, but also about promoting world peace so that this Ramadan feels more tranquil. You all have already become winners and sources of pride for the face of creative Muslimah in Indonesia," added Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene.
Fashion Director Romi Astuti also supported Face of Muslimah Creative, which provides education and inspiration for young Muslim women.
"Incredible! This is the first impression I have of the finalists, who possess broad insights. They just need to polish their confidence or public speaking skills to establish eye contact while delivering a message, fostering two-way communication," she said after serving as a judge in the competition.

Founder & CEO of Scarf Media, Temi Sumarlin, noted that one of the most prominent criteria was creativity in content creation. Participants underwent a selection process conducted by halal creative industry experts, with assessments based on content creativity, the relevance of the messages conveyed during interviews and the grand final, and the positive impact of the content produced.
"We are not just looking for content creators who can review products, but those who can provide valuable information or benefits to their followers. Content creators now play an important role in the halal creative sector, and Indonesia, with its large Muslim population, should foster a digital ecosystem. The winners of Face of Muslimah Creative also have the opportunity to become brand ambassadors for Indonesia’s halal creative industry," said Temi Sumarlin.
