On this occasion, Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene highlighted the lack of classical music performance venues in Indonesia. She stated that the Ministry of Creative Economy views this issue from two perspectives: preserving existing venues and encouraging investors to develop similar spaces.

"For us at the Ministry of Creative Economy, there are two key aspects. First, existing venues must remain active and attract audiences to ensure they are always filled. Second, we hope that entrepreneurs will invest in similar businesses to support the growth of the classical music ecosystem in Indonesia," said Irene.

She also emphasized the importance of encouraging the public to invest in the creative economy sector, including building performance spaces such as Aula Simfonia. According to her, this could be a promising business model while simultaneously strengthening the music subsector as a new engine for national economic growth.

"We see great potential in the music subsector to become the new engine of growth for Indonesia's economy," Irene added.

Furthermore, Irene pointed out the lack of accessible information regarding creative economy events, including classical music performances. Many people are unaware of such events taking place.

"I want to ensure that information about events like this is easily accessible. Therefore, I propose integrating ticket booking information into a digital platform managed by the Ministry of Creative Economy. This way, the public can more easily discover and support creative economy events," she explained.

Meanwhile, Managing Director of Aula Simfonia Jakarta, Eunice Tong, shared that the establishment of the hall was driven by her father's deep love for classical music and his desire to introduce it to the Indonesian public. Since its inception 15 years ago, Aula Simfonia has remained the only venue in Jakarta with top-tier acoustics for orchestral performances.

"Aula Simfonia Jakarta was founded out of my father's love for Indonesia and classical music. For the past 15 years, we have been committed to providing a space for classical music enthusiasts to enjoy high-quality performances with the best acoustics," said Eunice.

Eunice expressed hope that more orchestras would be held in Indonesia in the future and that more young people would develop an interest in learning and mastering classical music.

With government support and the presence of high-quality performance venues like Aula Simfonia, it is hoped that more creative industry players will be inspired to invest in the arts and culture sector. Additionally, this initiative aims to encourage younger generations to appreciate and develop a love for classical music.
