Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene expressed this idea during a meeting with Ganara Art at Menara Merdeka, Jakarta, on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. She emphasized that this collaboration could raise public awareness of the importance of the cultural and creative industries.

"Collaboration with Ganara Art can help increase public awareness of the significance of the creative industry in driving national economic growth," said Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene.

"It would be great to have art installations at airports so visitors can engage in activities that help them understand and appreciate Indonesian culture through visual arts," she added.

Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene explained that the proposed art installations could showcase various artworks and handicrafts that reflect the beauty and uniqueness of Indonesian culture. These installations are expected to attract tourists, enhance their experience in Indonesia, and introduce the richness of Indonesian heritage to an international audience.

Meanwhile, Ganara Art CEO Tita Djumaryo expressed her enthusiasm about the meeting with the Ministry of Creative Economy, stating that it provided an opportunity to strengthen relationships and share Ganara Art’s vision for developing Indonesia’s creative industry.

This partnership is expected to have a positive impact on the creative industry’s development, not only in Jakarta but across various regions in Indonesia.

"The potential collaboration between Ganara Art and the Ministry of Creative Economy/Creative Economy Agency is enormous, as Ganara Art itself is a cultural platform with a strong foundation in visual arts, activation, and production," added Tita, who was accompanied by Ganara Art Co-Founder Ranald Indra and General Manager Sekar Ajeng during the meeting.
