Jakarta, March 5, 2025 – Deputy Minister of Creative Economy/Deputy Head of the Creative Economy Agency Irene Umar discussed the potential for collaboration with Ganara Art, including an initiative to create art installations at airports to introduce visual arts to a wider audience.

Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene expressed this idea during a meeting with Ganara Art at Menara Merdeka, Jakarta, on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. She emphasized that this collaboration could raise public awareness of the importance of the cultural and creative industries.
"Collaboration with Ganara Art can help increase public awareness of the significance of the creative industry in driving national economic growth," said Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene.

"It would be great to have art installations at airports so visitors can engage in activities that help them understand and appreciate Indonesian culture through visual arts," she added.
Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene explained that the proposed art installations could showcase various artworks and handicrafts that reflect the beauty and uniqueness of Indonesian culture. These installations are expected to attract tourists, enhance their experience in Indonesia, and introduce the richness of Indonesian heritage to an international audience.
Meanwhile, Ganara Art CEO Tita Djumaryo expressed her enthusiasm about the meeting with the Ministry of Creative Economy, stating that it provided an opportunity to strengthen relationships and share Ganara Art’s vision for developing Indonesia’s creative industry.
"We are very impressed with today’s meeting with the Ministry of Creative Economy. This discussion has opened opportunities to strengthen relationships and introduce Ganara Art’s vision in advancing Indonesia’s creative industry," said Tita.

She further highlighted that the collaboration between Ganara Art and the Ministry of Creative Economy holds significant potential, as Ganara Art is a cultural platform with expertise in visual arts, activation, and production. This partnership is expected to have a positive impact on the creative industry’s development, not only in Jakarta but across various regions in Indonesia.
"The potential collaboration between Ganara Art and the Ministry of Creative Economy/Creative Economy Agency is enormous, as Ganara Art itself is a cultural platform with a strong foundation in visual arts, activation, and production," added Tita, who was accompanied by Ganara Art Co-Founder Ranald Indra and General Manager Sekar Ajeng during the meeting.

Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene was joined by the Ministry of Creative Economy Deputy for Cultural and Design Creativity, Yuke Sri Rahayu, who also found the potential collaboration with Ganara Art highly promising. She noted that such initiatives could encourage greater public participation in artistic and cultural activities. Yuke also suggested extending the collaboration by involving Ganara Art in events across different regions.
"Collaboration with Ganara Art is highly engaging as it can boost public participation in artistic and cultural activities," said Yuke.
