Jakarta, June 5, 2025 – Deputy Minister of Creative Economy, Irene Umar, emphasized the importance of maximizing creativity and technology to unlock inclusive value creation. Speaking at the Entrepreneurs’ Organization Asia Pacific (EO APAC) Summit 2025, she underscored the role of the creative economy as a vital pillar in realizing Indonesia Emas 2045.

“We must leverage creativity and technology to generate value for many, not just a few. The key today lies in how we harness these tools to achieve broader and more meaningful goals,” said Deputy Minister Irene during her keynote address at The Sultan Hotel, Jakarta.
Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) is a global network of nearly 20,000 business leaders across 220 chapters in over 80 countries. The EO APAC Summit 2025 focused on driving creative economy development and raising awareness of the critical role collaboration and innovation play in business sustainability.
In her remarks, Deputy Minister Irene also emphasized the need for a long-term vision, supported by strong synergy between the government, industry, and academia to improve the quality of Indonesia’s human resources.

She reiterated that the creative economy can significantly contribute to quality job creation, improve public welfare, and serve as a major driver of national economic growth.
To support this, the Ministry of Creative Economy continues to expand its training and capacity-building programs for creative talents, ensuring they are equipped with relevant skills and competencies.
“Looking ahead, I hope the development of the creative economy will become one of the key pillars in realizing the vision of Indonesia Emas 2045,” Deputy Minister Irene concluded.
