“The Ministry of Creative Economy is ready to support and facilitate the activation of book and board game distribution from Guru Bumi. This will also lead toward commercialization. Moreover, we are currently exploring the development of Kids Corners at train stations and airports,” said Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene Umar.
In addition, the Ministry of Creative Economy has established Reading Corners at the Merchandise Store of Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII). This initiative serves as an educational effort to introduce cultural heritage through storybooks on local legends, aimed at fostering pride and love for the Indonesian nation.
“With Guru Bumi’s creative books, which feature engaging themes and pop-up designs, these works can become an exciting choice. I also hope that children’s books with local content will be available in foreign languages so we can promote them to global markets,” added Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene.
