Jakarta, January 21, 2025 – Deputy Minister of Creative Economy/Deputy Head of the Creative Economy Agency Irene Umar held an audience with OMNIVR to discuss potential cooperation and collaboration in the development of the creative economy.

The meeting took place at Gedung Sapta Pesona, Jakarta, on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene was accompanied by the Deputy for Digital Creativity and Technology at the Ministry of Creative Economy, Muhammad Neil El Himam. Representing OMNIVR were Founder Nico Alyus and Park Jung Hoon, CEO of ROOT M&C Co, Ltd.
ROOT M&C Co, Ltd is a South Korean content company specializing in realistic content development based on Web 3.0 technology, providing high-quality content such as films, dramas, advertisements, real-time performances, and games with a one-stop support system.
“We want to ensure that the partnership between the Matching Fund program and the Ministry of Creative Economy opens new opportunities for Indonesia’s creative industry, particularly in the sectors of gaming, music, film, and other digital creative industries,” stated Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene during the meeting.

Furthermore, Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene emphasized that collaboration with South Korea could open new market opportunities for Indonesia’s creative industry and expand its market reach. She expressed hopes for a mutually beneficial agreement that would strengthen Indonesia’s creative industry ecosystem.
“We hope to create a mutually beneficial collaboration, strengthen the creative industry ecosystem in Indonesia, and expand market reach to South Korea and internationally,” added Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene.

During the audience, Park Jung Hoon expressed his optimism regarding Indonesia’s growing potential. He believes that Indonesia is on track to become the strongest country in ASEAN in the coming years, which motivates his company to continue collaborating with Indonesia, particularly in the creative economy sector.
“We want to continue collaborating with Indonesia, especially in the creative economy sector, because we see tremendous potential for Indonesia to become the strongest nation in ASEAN within the next few years,” said Park Jung Hoon.
