Jakarta, February 4, 2025 – Deputy Minister of Creative Economy/Deputy Head of the Creative Economy Agency Irene Umar participated in a panel session and shared best practices on association management with the Entrepreneurs’ Organization. This initiative aims to strengthen the institutional framework of creative economy associations.
"This is the most anticipated session, where we can learn how to shift our mindset in association management. Instead of relying on external stakeholders, we should emphasize value creation for creative economy players as internal stakeholders so that we can work together more effectively," said Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene at the event, which was held at the Ballroom, 2nd Floor of the Gedung Film Pesona Indonesia, on Tuesday, February 4, 2025.
The Entrepreneurs’ Organization is a global nonprofit organization founded in the United States and is now present in 61 countries, including Indonesia. The organization is led by entrepreneurs with a minimum annual revenue of USD 1 million.

In Indonesia, the organization has expanded to Jakarta and Surabaya, offering exclusive membership to entrepreneurs who meet the minimum requirements and hold active leadership positions. All executive roles are held by professionals, and members support each other in enhancing their capacity, capabilities, and business skills, ultimately fostering business growth.
The interactive discussion attended by Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene focused on concepts and paradigms of entrepreneurship to strengthen the sector and equip entrepreneurs to face global economic challenges. She emphasized the need to build the capacity of creative economy association managers to ensure sustainable association management, thereby reinforcing the creative economy ecosystem.
