The close friendship between Indonesia and Singapore has been reflected through creative collaborations under the Indonesia Creative Diplomacy campaign in Singapore. Through this initiative, Indonesian local IP—Si Juki, Jumbo, and Milk Mocha Bear—has been presented in Singapore’s public spaces via taxi fleets, buses, and MRT stations. The presence of these characters demonstrates that Indonesian creative works are increasingly gaining recognition in the regional market.
“When our local IP appears on taxis and inside Singapore’s MRT, it is not just visual promotion. It is a symbol that Indonesian creativity is relevant, appreciated, and contributes to strengthening relations between nations,” continued the Deputy Minister of Creative Economy.
