She expressed hope that this workshop would encourage participants to take the initiative and consistently produce creative works, in line with the growth of the creative industry that requires strong narratives for film, animation, comics, and games.
“Through writing, we can share experiences and inspire many people. Short stories serve as an effective entry point to begin writing because they are able to convey meaning in a concise yet powerful way,” she said.

The workshop featured Founder & CEO of KBM App, Isa Alamsyah, who shared strategies for building a digital writing ecosystem as well as the use of technology, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), in the creative process. According to Isa, AI can serve as a supporting tool to enhance productivity, as long as writers maintain control over their ideas and the direction of the story.
“AI helps accelerate the process, but creativity and values still come from the writer,” he explained.

During the discussion session, participants raised questions regarding ethical boundaries in digital writing as well as ways to maintain idealism amid market demands. In response, Isa Alamsyah emphasized that platforms continue to uphold clear content standards, while writers still have the space to balance their idealism with readers’ preferences.
“Writers can read readers’ responses in real time, but the final decision still lies with the writer. Being adaptive without losing one’s identity is the key,” he added.
